The Role
The Milford, CT Branch Manager will oversee a team of ~75 employees across sales, operations, customer service, procurement, facilities, and HR. This leader will report to the President of the Northeast and work closely with a Regional Sales and a Regional Operations counterpart. Not only will this leader be responsible for operations and distribution functions, but they will also be responsible for the commercial side of the business, interfacing with customers and ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. This Branch Manager will be responsible for the P&L of this facility (~$100M in sales annually) and will oversee the transition/integration to the new facility in 2025 ($200M in sales projected).
Experience & Requirements
• 10+ years of experience that includes progressive leadership responsibilities including P&L management, preferred experience in wholesale distribution or service provider environments
• Experience in an environment requiring high levels of customer service with many small/medium-sized customers
• Process and results-oriented in setting and pursuing aggressive goals, demonstrating a strong commitment to organizational success, and marshaling resources to accomplish goals and objectives
• A natural mentor: demonstrated ability to develop talent, recruit and lead cross-functional teams, and foster a collaborative culture
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, and leading quarterly and annual business planning processes
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences
• A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding, and proactive individual; a natural bias for action with the ability to deal with ambiguity
