The Role
HF has grown to a $1.2 billion international food company, organically, through acquisitions, and expansion of their customer offerings. To capitalize on this growth, HF is investing in their sourcing and procurement function to create an integrated supply chain that supports and enables profitability, customer satisfaction, end-to-end cost optimization and future growth. As a key part of this investment, HF has created three Category Leader roles to oversee the Produce, Seafood and Protein categories, who will develop a comprehensive, strategic approach to sourcing and spend management and lead their respective purchasing operations.
Experience & Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess: (1) experience leading sourcing and procurement in a food or CPG company of appropriate size, structure, and complexity; (2) functional depth in modern sourcing and procurement techniques; (3) a track record of delivering distinctive financial results through supplier partnerships that drive end-to-end cost reduction; and (4) interpersonal skills to build support, influence action, and drive culture change regarding the relevance and value of the procurement function.
