The Company
Green Mountain Technology (GMT) is a Memphis, TN based SaaS
provider that offers planning, execution, and monitoring solutions for
high-volume parcel networks. With clients such as Walmart, Best
Buy, and Kohl’s, GMT enables large scale eCommerce to simplify
network complexity, drive increased profitability, and generally
enhance the customer experience through its suite of tech-enabled
services. Founded in 1999 by two former FedEx software engineers,
GMT has grown to over 150 employees and manages over $10B in
parcel spend for its customer base.
The Role
Thompson Street partnered with GMT’s founders and leadership
team in 2019 with the objective of leveraging the company’s
compelling value proposition to accelerate revenue and earnings
growth. As part of the partnership, the primary founders of Green
Mountain Technology have sought support in facilitating an
orderly transition plan to a new leadership team for the company’s
next stage of growth.
In partnership with Thompson Street, GMT seeks a new CTO to

performance of the legacy organization. GMT has an attractive
platform for growth, with a compelling margin profile and a robust

partner, GMT plans to double the size of the business over the next
two years through both organic expansion and a pipeline of
potential acquisitions.
The CTO is responsible for setting and communicating the
company’s technical vision, developing the information technology
roadmap, and leading all aspects of information technology
development and infrastructure. This role is a key strategic thought
leader and business partner to the overall operation. They will
establish customer performance metrics, key objectives, and guide
both the internal technology infrastructure and client facing
technology products for Green Mountain Technologies.
