The Role

To support this expansion and integration of a new division, RIA is looking to expand their accounting and finance team and is seeking a leader to consult across the global network and drive strategic and integration efforts in partnership with the executive leadership team. The role reports directly to the CFO and will collaborate closely with the Avance stakeholders.

Experience & Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or controllership roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline required.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control rules and guidelines.
• Strong financial, quantitative, and analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to translate complex topics, policies, or rules in accounting to constituencies within finance function and also non-financial staff.
• Displays a high level of initiative; invites, challenges, and explores new ideas while understanding and communicating risks.
• Naturally inclusive and collaborative across a full range of internal stakeholders; leads cross-functionally by influence.
• Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature; makes decisions with imperfect information; wired for a fast-paced, high-change. environment.
• Skilled in written and verbal communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Post-merger integration experience is preferred.
• Experience in IT services/consulting preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Miami, FL; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; or New York City, NY.
