Resource Label Group “RLG” is a leading, full-service manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and RFID/NFC technology with ~$500M annual revenue. The company provides custom label design and converting services using flexographic and digital printing presses. To support the increasing size and complexity of the organization, the company is now seeking a Regional Finance Director to lead the accounting, financial planning and analysis, operations analysis, reporting, and cash management for the Southeast region. The position reports to the CFO of Resource Label Group and will collaborate extensively with cross-functional leadership. The position is based at the company’s manufacturing facility in Franklin, TN.
Experience & Requirements
The Regional Finance Director is expected to oversee all accounting functions across 3 plants in the Southeast region: Franklin, TN; Birmingham, AL; and Springfield, MO. Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Process Improvement. Adapt and improve the core accounting and FP&A processes and organizational capabilities to support the scale and future growth of the company. Implement these processes for daily use and training.
• Planning and Budgeting. Build financial models and scenario planning for long-term financial performance projections. Build budgets—including developing targets and considering “what-if” scenarios for revenue, pricing, manufacturing input costs, and SG&A. Build forecasts and assess risks for both P&L and cash flow.
• Performance Analysis. Run performance variance analyses against budgets and forecasts with root cause explanations. Develop and assess commercial, operations, and working capital analyses. Perform ROI analyses for Capex, staff additions and restructuring, and manufacturing footprint consolidation.
• Financial Systems. Utilize ERP and financial systems to both improve processes and controls and scale the business at speed.
