The Role

The Senior Director will take responsibility for all logistics spend, including sourcing, procurement, and vendor management, and operational delivery of Nextracker equipment all over the world. Primary responsibilities will be around carrier relationship management and driving on-time delivery performance to installation projects across multiple geographies and remote locations. To support the overall company growth plans, the new Sr. Director will balance savings execution initiatives with operational imperatives, such as on time delivery and network visibility.
The position will set the overall direction for the logistics function; lead category strategic sourcing efforts; manage carrier management programs and contracting; and ensure operations are both compliant and efficient. Success will be measured on operational performance, cost containment and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. The position reports to the VP of Supply Chain, leads a team of 30 logistics specialists and coordinators, and is located at company headquarters in Fremont, CA.
