Senior Director, Payor Contracting
Experience & Requirements
• 10+ years of professional tenure in the healthcare industry, including 5+ years of leadership experience that includes payor contracting and contracting administration.
• Experience negotiating global and professional capitated arrangements and/or other incentive risk & reward models
• Demonstrated experience with commercial and government products (Medicare, Medicaid or Exchange plans)
• Demonstrated ability to develop and interpret summary plan documents, schedule of benefits, contract provisions, division of financial responsibility and payment methodologies that include valued based incentives, professional capitation, and global risk.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
• Excellent financial, quantitative, and analytical skills; experience with business and operations performance reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to attract and retain top talent.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain internal relationships; able to drive alignment.
• A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others.
