The Company
Headquartered in the Chicago area, Duly Health and Care (formerly DuPage Medical Group) is the largest multi-specialty, physician-directed medical practice group in the Midwest with more than 900 physicians in over 150 locations. The company has expanded rapidly over the last two decades, beginning from three Chicago-based practices. In 2017, Ares Management announced a $1.45 billion investment in the company to enable continued growth.
The Role
To support Duly’s continued expansion, the company is seeking a new Senior Vice President of Supply Chain. The purpose of the role is threefold:
1. Unlock value/savings within core spend categories,
2. Increase the percentage of spend under management,
3. Design and implement modern supply processes and systems that support additional scale in the business and better integration across planning, inventory, and procurement.
The new executive will take ownership for all spend management and supply chain functions, including spend analytics, target setting, RFI/RFP processes, negotiations, contracting, supplier management, demand management, planning, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and transportation functions.
The current total addressable spend is about ~$400 million and is expected to double in the next three years as the pace of practice acquisition increases. Top spend categories include pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and other “clinician preferred” items, along with real estate/facilities, IT, and HR. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is ideally located at company headquarters in Chicago.
