The Role
To capitalize on future growth opportunities, Convergint seeks to add talent to their Finance organization through the hiring of a Treasurer to oversee the buildout of a stand-alone corporate treasury function as well as build the team, processes, and structure to support future growth. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be based at company headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.
Experience & Requirements
• At least 15 years of professional experience that includes some combination of corporate finance, treasury, accounting, and financial risk management in a company with a global footprint.
• Experience with capital allocation strategies and implications
• Experience with risk management via derivatives and hedging and navigating tax implications of a global business
• Experience working across a highly decentralized financial system requiring collaboration with central and regional business partners
• Expert financial, quantitative, and analytical skills. Excels in issue identification and problem solving
• Experience managing relationships with external business partners, including banks and insurance providers
• Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
• Experience supporting business decisions at the local and enterprise level, including
