The Role
AZEK is executing against strategic operational objectives including product innovation, and market penetration to support the company’s planned growth. Due to the healthy product innovation pipeline and recent volume increases, AZEK is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to both set and manage long-term manufacturing objectives, help drive operational efficiency, better leverage company scale, and support the product innovation process. The Vice President, Engineering is responsible for directing and administering the engineering and process control function for the AZEK Company. This role provides the technical and people leadership to maintain a world-class engineering organization across multiple assets and programs. The Vice President must demonstrate leadership characteristics to achieve sustainable top performance, a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business.
Experience & Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess: (1) experience leading engineering design, capital investments, and related technical support in industrial environments of appropriate size, structure, and complexity; (2) functional experience inclusive of design engineering, capital projects, next-generation technologies, and manufacturing continuous improvement; (3) experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams; and (4) the presence, communication, strategic thinking, and runway with ability to succeed as a member of AZEK’s management team.
