The Role

Zelis has grown substantially in recent years and, with support from its investors, has an aggressive growth plan for the next 3-5 years. Zelis’ historical growth had been accelerated through strategic industry partnerships. More recently, the company has shifted to focus on inorganic growth. A key strategic priority for Zelis is to reinvest in its partnership strategy within the Payments business.

Zelis is now seeking to hire a Vice President of Partnerships who will lead the strategy and execution of strategic partnerships for the Payments business. The new leader will build new partner relationships and cultivate existing ones across the partnership ecosystem to include healthcare providers, payers, and members. The new VP will report to Yusuf Qasim, the President of Payments, and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Experience & Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess: 1) commercial leadership experience in an organization of relevant scope and scale, with expertise in healthcare payments and revenue cycle; 2) a track record of establishing and managing effective partnership relationships with distinguished financial results; and 3) superior presence, communications, and stakeholder management skills to be an effective leader within a high-growth, private equity backed environment. The new leader will report to the President of the Payments business and may be based anywhere in the United States.
