Emily Murphy is a Director in PierceGray’s Chicago office. She has spent more than six years in executive search, following an earlier career in professional services.
Emily focuses on supply chain and operations searches, with additional depth in finance, services, and technologyrecruiting at the C-suite and functional head level. Within the firm she is the person who takes on first-of-their-kind searches, in industries and functions PierceGray has not served before.
Emily spent her earlier career in intellectual property litigation at Dentons and Kenyon & Kenyon, then nearly five years at Boston Consulting Group. She holds a BA in Global Studies and Spanish from Loyola University Maryland and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Emily grew up in New York and has lived abroad several times, includingEcuador, Italy, and Thailand. She enjoys cooking, wine tasting, and running, and spends her free time with her rescue dog, Franklin.
