Catherine Donegan is a Vice President in PierceGray’s Chicago office, where her work centers on finance leadership. She came to search from consumer banking and has spent the last eight years with the firm.
Catherine recruits senior executives for private equity-backed companies, most often the leader who owns the finance function and the roles directly beneath it. Many of those are succession hires or finance transformation mandates. Her work also extends into the commercial function, across the healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and services sectors.
Catherine began her career in consumer banking as a graduate of PNC Bank’s ACCEL leadership development program, with later roles in sales, business development, and business banking. She holds a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from the Boler School of Business at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Catherine lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago with her husband and their two daughters. A former college tennis player, she enjoys staying active and traveling in her downtime.
