Epika is headquartered in Nashville, TN and is backed by the private equity firm Ares Management.
The Role
Epika is now seeking to hire its first Head of Organic Growth who will have accountability for building and executing upon the organization’s organic growth plan. The ideal candidate will possess: (1) leadership experience in a distributed field services environment of similar scale and complexity; (2) a track record of leveraging data and systems to generate insights and drive decision making; (3) experience partnering cross-functionally and with field teams to operationalize organic growth initiatives; and (4) superior advisory, relationship, and stakeholder management necessary to drive change and influence results in a high-growth, investor-backed environment. The Head of Organic Growth will report to the Chief Growth Officer and may be based anywhere in the US, with a preference for Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA.
Experience & Requirements
• At least eight years of professional experience, with exposure to distributed, field-based services environments. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in management consulting. Private equity experience preferred.
• Possesses exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with a strong results orientation. Capable of translating real-time operational performance data into business insights and progress against enterprise organic growth initiatives.
• Comfortable using advanced analytical tools and methodologies (e.g., PowerBI) to drive strategic decision making for a broad range of stakeholders.
• Enterprise-level project management and implementation skillset, able to optimize processes, drive adoption of systems and tools, and manage change through to front line personnel.
• Track record of successfully managing multiple complex initiatives and work streams in parallel with competing priorities and delivering results against time sensitive deadlines.
• Attentive to detail; highly organized; reputation for excellent work output.
• Able to ‘zoom in’ to the details and ‘zoom out’ to set and understand strategy. Willing and able to “go deep” on individual projects to accelerate results.
• Naturally inclusive and collaborative across a full range of internal stakeholders/levels. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead by influence. Maintains a superior customer service attitude.
• A dynamic leader who is self-reliant and hands-on when/where necessary, but also capable of building coalitions and driving collaboratively. Pivots style to produce results.
• Entrepreneurial. Comfortable with ambiguity. Thrives working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
• Able to travel 25%+ to headquarters and field locations.
